This is a great discussion of what #meta might do. But one of the replies raises an important question. It's not about us. Meta isn't planning how to stamp us out. It'll crush us in passing, if at all. Meta is doing this to compete with other corporate social media.
So why are they taking up federated social media at all? Can someone help me understand?
