(2) sadly infection following a previous infection or vaccination is possible even during the first few months. (Vaccines still do a lot to prevent serious disease and death, but that's different than preventing infection altogether). (3) maybe because of asymptomatic infections, or for whatever reason, this virus seems to have a way of making its way around.
