One of the fun things about doing so much in #Emacs (email, organizing info, etc.): I can use keyboard shortcuts to select a talk for the conference I'm organizing and compose an email to the speaker. Another shortcut inserts a text description of the schedule for their talk, with the times given in both EST and the speaker's timezone. Everything's at my fingertips and it's all set up to avoid the things I'm bad at, like remembering details about people and timezones. :)
