Interesting to compare the size of the rotor of the aircraft to the wind turbine.
The scale is an huge difference. The turbine must generate 10 or 20x more power than the aircraft engines.
So 20 minutes of fuel defrosting a turbine will be nothing compared to the emissions reduction of the turbine verses the coal or gas power plant that could be running to fill the need, during the freeze up.
To be clear, wind turbines, can only displace some fraction of other generation.
