Adolph (npub17eh…94rr) Oh yeah. Final Fantasy XIV has absolutely nothing to do with any other FF title, only some recurring themes, characters, monsters and animals, but aside for that the gameplay is completely different.
I would guess they used the name just as a selling point. I don't mind though because chocobos are cute motherfuckers.
