It’s the dumbest thing. Same with the institutional buy-in.
I remember when we started this. It was after 2008 had occurred and everyone was reeling from the bailouts. No one misunderstood the purpose.
We were trying out new technology and we wanted to destroy the power of the government and its banking cartel to steal from us by manipulating our economy and creating money from thin air (which they proceed to be as irresponsible as possible with as they rest assured they’ll always be able to take more from us).
People didn’t think it would work out, but no one thought it would work out and the community would be packed with idiots demanding to be regulated and interfered with.
We. Are. At. War. This is a monetary Cold War. We need, need, NEED to start thinking in those terms again.
