There are some dramatic problems with Twitter removing heads and subheads from images beyond user-friendliness.
1)Users - who may not be acting in good faith - get to say what's in an article that many people might not click through.
2)Many articles don't have key images
3)Many stories have non-representative images that only make sense with a specific headline
4)People scanning pages often ignore the tweet and just look at the links, which now won't have text.
