These sorts of moves in a wealthy liberal city like Seattle are going to make a lot of people question why we pay taxes and WTF are politicians doing with it!?

WA state is ranked the LEAST dependent on federal aid of all US states. We pay FIVE times what the Feds send to groups like Seattle Children's Hospital.

Literally King County pays more in State taxes than it receives back from any county as well.

So like... we can fund the hospitals ourselves fr fr.
