Struggling against the impulse to just doom-post all day, fruitlessly kibitzing on events far beyond my control.

I hate that the republicans steal so much time and energy from us just on the *worry* of how to react. As always I have to qualify this and note that they steal less from me than from many others, but it is unacceptable at any scale.
