i'm glad it's not the 19th century, because i am able to go on computer and shitpost with other weirdos. if it were 1860 there would be no computer, instead you'd have to read a book titled "a treasury of wisdom, wit, humor, and proverbs" and all the stuff in there would be like "if a woman gives you a watch-chain of horsehair, her father will surely receive you coldly unless you bring him a gift of marmalade" and i'd rather just get tuberculosis
