Literally what these people live for and it is depressing.
Flip side I had a friend tell a similar story about his Aunt who was a massive Legend of Zelda fan. She played every game from the first one when she was a child except the CDI ones. Though she struggled through Twilight Princess because she got cancer and died shortly after completing it.
Friend got Skyward Sword, named his save file after her, and half way into it and remembered she was also willing to be critical of games, then thought "I am glad she died when she did. She would have hated this."
