Yeah. Costs are no joke. I tend to recommend people budget $200+/month per pet for food and vet visits. Any extra goes to the rainy day fund for later.
Ive been Barry's caretaker for about 5 ½ years now as his first was no longer able to. He's a loyal companion and I'm hoping to get him fixed up and healed so he can enjoy the outdoors later in the spring
