I think *this* is one of the key problems that needs to be worked through early. The obvious strength of (actual) Christians is their principled opposition to the vile behavior of our enemies, but that same morality makes it difficult for them to stomach the Harsh Measures that may be necessary to Reduce Parasite Load.

Nothing about the cleanup process is going to be pleasant, and of course the longer it is delayed the nastier it will be. Participation in any massive bloodbath will be very bad mentally and spiritually for those involved: we want to avoid a Dark Judges / Seven Kill Stele scenario.

One way Christianity could help mitigate the nastiness while at the same time accelerating victory would be for Christians to *flip* key enemy power players over to our side, like what happened with Constantine the Great. This requires that Christians' worldview be coherent and believable -- it will need to pass The Dread Test on merits, without any bullshit or sophistry. This, in turn, means squaring Christianity with sound science and engineering without making dumb excuses for past discrepancies.
