Finally got to try my VGA2SCART+RT5x setup today.
Good news: it works
Bad news: it only works at 480p or lower
Not a problem for DOS or Win9x gaming, but WinXP does NOT like running at 640x480 and will fight like hell to keep you from doing it. I have other ways of interfacing it that'll work at higher resolutions, but they're much less elegant. As in lots of splitters and USB power cables.
