I've thought it was fairly known that Arcade Shooter style games often demand higher prices, and have had high prices well before other retro game price increases started happening. Anyone have a clearer idea why though? My guess: There are fewer games in that genre, but people into them got used to the idea spending $100 on a game saved them money over the arcade experience.
