Something I appreciate (and can acknowledge is a privilege) about not having my games be tied to a monetary output need (no judgement) is I can, at any time, deviate from a task I find draining to another without internalizing that pivot, or negatively perceived lack of progress. Life is long, things will come and go, and it's ok to take breaks.
