Permacomputing critics have a really hard time resisting to strawman the concept, they just can't help themselves, once they've boxed-in the whole thing into some reductive pointless hobby, then it's always, but wait! I've got a BETTER NAME for something that's exactly what permacomputing is, but I made it up, it's a word I came up for it all by myself, it's new, and that's better.
