My boomer dad thinks that the reason everyone hates jews is because jews are supposed to be God's chosen -- and that the jews forsook God and Jesus is the reason the world has sucked for thousands of years, so they persecute jews for it.

I tried to tell him that people separated by thousands of miles for thousands of years don't just magically hate the same small group of people for no reason. But that just sorta bounced right off him.
