I can sorta go along with what you wrote but capitalism is a totalizing system. Each force and feature reinforces the whole in a global ruling class. The aspect that is most damaging at this stage of planetary history is the incentives to produce more greenhouse gases, but those are all connected to the general incentivizes to degrade ecosystems for profit.
Private profit is the key. But it is upheld by a global system.
