Dubai (UAE) honored Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Sports Council, the winners of the 'Dubai Globe Soccer' awards in its 15th edition, which was held in conjunction with the 19th edition of the 'Dubai International Sports Conference', a member of 'Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives' organized annually by Dubai Sports Council with the participation of international football stars and decision-makers. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the award for the best player in the world to Brazilian Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, while Italian Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid's coach, received the award for the best coach in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star and Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr player, received the awards for the best player in the Middle East and the all-time leading scorer in international football. Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior won the award for the best forward, while his teammate, Englishman Jude Bellingham, received the award for the best midfielder and the best forward. Barcelona's young player, Lamine Yamal, won the award for the best newcomer. The Dubai International Sports Conference and the 'Dubai Globe Soccer' awards took place at the Atlantis Hotel, Palm Jumeirah, with Khalaf Al-Holal, Vice President of Dubai Sports Council, attending the ceremony, along with several sports personalities, members of the Dubai Sports Council board, and officials from state-owned clubs. The event kicked off with a dialogue session titled 'Football Talents' where Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal and Al-Nassr, and Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois discussed the importance of early talent discovery and development, as well as the roles of all members of the football system in this mission, which plays a crucial role in promoting the sport and developing talented players. The dialogue session was followed by the distribution of 'Dubai Globe Soccer' awards to many football stars, including men's and women's teams and successful professionals, with Al-Ain FC winning the award for the best team in the Middle East, and Jorge Jesus, coach of Al-Hilal, winning the award for the best coach in the Middle East. The event also honored the stars who won the award for the best career player, including Alessandro Del Piero, the Italian legend and Juventus star, Neymar Jr., the Brazilian star and Al-Hilal player, and Rio Ferdinand, the former Manchester United and England defender, Tiago Courtois, the Belgian goalkeeper and Real Madrid star, and Real Madrid won the award for the best men's team, while its president, Florentino Perez, won the award for the best club president, and Barcelona won the award for the best women's team.
