you know those build systems where you write some code and write like "including this library please" and hit compile and it just pulls in the libraries from arbitrary server, like some satellite orbiting somewhere. i still don't really understand what's supposed to happen in 25 years when the satellite's orbit decays. those things are made of tinfoil and kapton tape. i've got my src/ directory and then what. the dependencies are gone forever. the seed has been denatured and can never germinate
