Half of the improvements you mention still don't exist for most users. The interop improvements still don't matter when over 90% of the nodes that exist are LND and the only usable LN mobile wallet has absolutely 0 interop.
"Tons of changes" and work, sure, it's much appreciated. But lightning is still exactly the same with the same major concerns that people complain about. Maybe do more listening to their concerns. You're the first person I think of that argues with concerns that people bring up. "You're all wrong" is all I ever hear you say when lightning concerns and issues are brought up. And when people try to solve things in their own ways, it's "wrong wrong wrong, wait for protocol improvements, do it this way only in 2 years."
