Putting up a spoiler saying "alcohol" did not prepare me for this. I ran out of single-malt some time ago, and haven't got around to replacing it, thinking everytime "no, too expensive". But then i stand there some evening, just wanting to sip a couple of fingers of good whisky, telling myself I'm an idiot for not just buying some!
