The inherent nature of a free market is deflation, as technological advancements continually increase efficiency and reduce production costs. The exponential rate of technological progress should consequently lead to a decline in prices. So, why aren't prices falling? The answer lies in our debt-based system, where we borrow from the future to fund present consumption, resulting in a global debt that's insolvent and cannot be repaid. Instead, this debt is devalued through money printing and inflation.

As a result, the economic benefits of deflation are never realised; they're effectively siphoned off through inflation. This corruption in our monetary system, which underlies society, is the root cause of many global issues. Voting for new political leaders won't address the problem. A systemic overhaul is required to restore the natural equilibrium of deflation and distribute its benefits to society.
