Hey npub1uqmy9zln20k7xv7pc58jk2j89gau505pmf3jkum8qv4lt0m3kl2qz8xggf (npub1uqm…xggf) thanks for reaching out. I am NOT saying the VPN servers are compromised. What I am suggesting based on the research below, is global AI monitors the packet size, timing, and route to gather information. And this risk is larger, the more centralized the internet becomes, which is exactly what Mullvad & all these commodity providers do by using the same routers and switches. Mullvad is considered the "best", yet they are a commodity. That's propaganda in my view.
As covered in our podcast,
https://podcast.simplifiedprivacy.com/ocean/index.html
There is a huge amount of research and press on global governments targeting the largest peering centers and centralized hubs (see sources below). So someone concerned with AI monitoring of packets would be very interested in getting encryption to join a group outside these areas.
Further there are direct conflicts of interest with Mullvad's choices, as outlined in our content, where the websites themselves are using the same provider as the VPN. This is a conflict of interest.
