I wished to remain anonymous on FB and someone I knew died. I posted on someone’s comment I knew them and FB came back saying I needed to verify my ID. A couple of years later I was at a camp and we took a group photo, I was no longer on FB and it automatically tagged me by name in the pic. I have very little trust in a company and tool that wants you to update your data to then catalog who you are and what you do.
