"content": "A while back, Ilford had an issue with some 120 film batches reacting between the film and backing paper. This caused spots and blotches on the negative, similar to measles (particularly evident in light areas like the sky) - hence the name. Ilford fixed the problem and replaced any affected rolls sold. I use my defective rolls for testing.\n\nThe attached photo shows an example of Ilford measles.
