In #Rockport, #Texas there is a large stand of Live Oaks that serves as a #rookery each year during breeding season. It is across the street from the bay which is a source of food for the Herons making this an attractive place to nest. Hundreds of them nest here and as you can see from this small section, the nests are very close together.
