There are going to be a ton of recriminations over the coming weeks/months, just as there was with Hilary, and they're all going to miss the point. It literally doesn't matter. There was nothing she could have said or done differently that would have clinched it. The longer we pretend there is, the longer we fail to treat the real issues.
