As I see carnivore benefits are derived a lot from the elimination of carbs. Many of the metabolic diseases we have (diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gout etc) derive from low quality carbs that are in our world everywhere (white rice, bread, some cereals, refined sugars), . . Just getting rid of them from a normal persons diet will help incredibly to improve a whole bunch of symptoms like tiredness, muscle pain and general inflammation.
The other side of the equation is of course expenditure and excretion. If someone eats loads of carbs and sits around all day at a desk this isn't good news. Someone like yourself is fit and hence its less of an issue to eat a few extra carbs. Having said that the inflammation response from some of these foods is the issue. It causes problems with waste excretion and toxins can build up leading to further inflammation and hence the cycle continues.
I'd suggest to give carnivore a try for a month or two. See how you feel, recover after training and just generally feel. You could do blood tests pre and post trying and see. Likely you would need 2 month to see changes in blood I suspect. Not sure tho about that bit.
