I think it's really cool that 16 & 17 year olds in Berkeley and Oakland are going to be able to vote in their school board elections. Not only does it get people involved in the voting process earlier, but who better to have a say in the people making impactful decisions about their education.

If this was more widely adopted, I suspect book banning bible thumpers would have a much harder time regressing the public education system.
