My 57 year old sister is dying in a hospital in California. She has early onset Alzheimer's, diabetes and lives in a nursing home. Evidently, without notice, she developed renal failure so quickly and so severely, there is nothing they can do for her. They took her to the hospital and it's beyond help. She's in palliative care and will be gone in days
How does a nursing home miss something like that?
