"content": "My take: Speech synthesis (which has existed since the 1980s) is vital. The issue here is not the tech, its marketing these as audiobooks!\n\nA good narrator brings more than I find any modern speech synthesizer does.\n\nIts an auditory font, not an audiobook.",
