Im starting to believe that hypernostrization will happen before hyperbitcoinization.

1. The value of freedom of speech is far more understood than the value of sound money. I feel way more confident in my ability to purple-pill someone than my ability to orange-pill someone. Purple-pilling takes a few minutes. Orange-pilling takes hours, at least.

2. Debanking is far less common than banning on legacy social media. Most people don’t read and therefore dont learn from the pain of others. They won’t know the stove is hot until they touch it themselves.

It’s fairly common for posts to get flagged or taken down on legacy social media, but it’s much less common for someone’s bank account to be seized (at least for now).

Maybe if we see crazy high inflation and/or a reduction in internet censorship over the next few years, my opinon could change, but for now, I actually think that nostr’s trajectory is even more vertical than bitcoin’s.
