I’ve always said that our relationships are recession-proof, and that the next generation and AI won’t be able to replicate the connection we have with one another.
As a Superconnector, I’ve always wanted tech to streamline the process so I could make more introductions faster. As someone who has spent decades in sales and business development, I’ve longed for a way to automate the most painful parts of the process.
Well, it looks like entire industries will no longer be able to compete with the effectiveness and speed of AI.
This is Artisan Ai that raised $11M to automate the entire role of a salesperson or business development representative. They made $1M in ARR in the first 3 months and new agents that handle the entire process for customer service and tech support are on their way.
It’s an interesting feeling when AI automates you out of your former livelihood. There’s a moment of fear, realizing you are no longer needed or relevant… And then comes surrender.
This is what’s coming—a tsunami of AI agents better equipped to handle the areas we resist. The question now is: how can we bring our humanness into the mix in ways where working in tandem with AI amplifies all wins?
My answer lies in honing the skills that today are still best met by humans—connection.
Can we bring more of ourselves now that the tasks keeping us from being present, available, and kind are automated? What skill sets will we need to own now that AI can replicate entire job titles?
Who will we become when there are no roles to fill, only the expression of our unique value?
