I partially reject the word "activist" even though I was called that once and had to think yes, maybe I am a bit, but I won't shy away from talking about it and encouraging people to make room for me and others. It's something everyone deserves, and the fact that whenever I've talked about this in the past the most pushback I've gotten from it is from other blind people is both sad and frustrating.
