there has been some discussion in a local foss group about #LoRa, people are very interested in it, but some also concerned because i guess the LoRa standard itself is not actually fully #opensource?? i don't currently fully understand the details of how open/closed it is and the implications of this. does anyone here on Fedi have any thoughts about this, or ideas about potential solutions/alternatives?
