he was covered in fleas and ticks, quite emaciated, and seemed really scared at first. i saw that he had a collar, so clearly at one point he had a home.
i was able to get him comfortable with my presence, and eventually managed to give him some water and food (yes they’re leftover pancakes 😅) while we made a ton of calls to emergency transport services and vets.
