I guess my take is, voting for the lesser of evils is necessary but not sufficient. Sufficient looks like a fifty-year program of showing up at every caucus, putting up left candidates for every race from dogcatcher on up, putting full effort into getting all of those candidates elected, eventually taking the courts, etc. and never ever letting up. The right’s base has a leg up in this, because a core of them already go to caucus, er, church meetings with each other once or twice a week
