That includes Cyberpunk, even though it is one of the progenitors of the genre in TTRPGs.

If there's one thing that we learned, even back then, it's that making the character responsible for the hacking effectively disconnected from the events of the ongoing scene is a recipe for everybody else sitting around twiddling their thumbs.

As you can probably tell from a survey of genre literature, that's hard to manage to avoid even as a writer who doesn't have to worry about what's going on with the rest of the party.
