Creating a digital receipt for arbitrary physical work is an unsolved problem. Proof of work generally refers to energy expended specifically to prodice a digital receipt. These digital receipts power cyberspace. In a physical sense, your artwork itself is the proof, but it can't be used in a digital system. I disucss this in my talk from BitBlockBoom earlier this year
