I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already, but one of the simplest things I've done to improve daily life recently is to add my postcode to my phone's dictionary, with the first two letters as a shortcut. I only need to type "se" and the full code is the first suggestion.

This won't matter to those of you in places with numerical codes, but UK postcodes are a hassle to type on a phone because of the shift between letters, digits, and the space in the middle.
