Government works. Party systems don’t. They divide and conquer us, forcing us to pick sides.

That’s why America’s founders created a centralized government, free from party tyranny.

Washington said, political parties would bring corruption and tyranny to government. They certainly did.

The irony, is that our two parties we see today evolved from Washington’s own government.

We can thank Thomas Jefferson for both the democratic and republican parties. They are both splinters from his own Jeffersonian republican ideology.
