Viktor Orbán was taken back when he was defeated as Prime Minister in 2002. He vowed that "The nation cannot be defeated" and spent the next 8 years undermining governments and causing social unrest. Back as PM in 2010 he set about establishing an "illiberal democracy" ensuring that he, and FIDESZ, would never be defeated again. All political, social, legal and economic institutions were bent to the will of Orbán. This is what Trump wants and he has his model to follow.
