Well they are not supposed to "PERSECUTE" the citizens. We need tighter control of what they spend and we need to throw politicians that break the law in jail.
In Canada, for example, we had a Supreme Court Justice that agreed that the Carbon Tax was unconstitutional, but then said "but climate change is a bigger issue so..."
