I hope I can get through it all! I think you'd really like Guénon. He heavily criticizes the west, mainly from a metaphysical and intellectual perspective, but he wrote his stuff almost a 100 years ago! A lot of his points apply more so today.
I should also mention that he converted to Islam later in his life and changed his name to Abdalwahid Yahia. His Wikipedia entry is quite interesting.
