Likewise ffmpeg and imagemagick are common ones needing some extra note taking!
I keep meaning to look into using Atuin: https://atuin.sh/
But of course just a shell history can lack explanatory notes/context.
* For a long time it didn't matter so much because often a refresher was only a short "google" away. But now it's not such a short google/DDG because there is so much crap information to wade through.
