The Hunter Biden deposition appears to be still going on. Without knowing how Hunter has testified, his testimony is itself a win for the House. Many criticized the decision not to move forward with a contempt vote. However, the staff clearly viewed testimony as far more valuable to the House (and frankly more precarious for Biden). They now have a long record of answers on highly specific questions. We will have to wait to see how Hunter addressed these questions and whether it raises additional legal questions.
