NEW: Hackers stole and leaked the personal data of 9 million patients of one of U.S.'s largest dental health insurers.
Data includes: names, addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, SSNs, and driver’s licenses/govt-issued ID numbers.
The company used one of the weirdest euphemisms I have seen recently to describe the breach, which is potentially a ransomware attack.
"Certain activity in our computer system that happened without our permission."
