The best part of playing Wordle is when you enter the first word waiting to see which letters turn up green. The biggest disappointment is when there are no green letters. A close second is when there’s one, and it’s just a vowel. Then you enter a second word revealing no more green letters. At that point I enter a wild guess and again there are no new greens. At that point you put it down to restart later. You always get 24 hours to start from there. Eventually it seems you always get it, until you don’t then your streak number goes down to zero. The greatest frustration is when you start again the next morning realizing you forgot to pick it up, and that’s why your count is reset to zero. There are no do-overs, no mercy. You start over and that’s that. At this point you remind yourself it’s just a game and that’s that. 

BTW if you came here from a social media app don’t you think it would be nice if you didn’t have to go to a new site just to read this little vignette? 

What if, instead of you coming here, the story was already there? What if “federation” were that seamless, and included all the niceties like a title, or some styling or a couple of links?
